Lead Clinical Research for Neurological Conditions

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee clinical research projects related to neurological conditions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the vision, strategy, and operations of these projects.

This is a leadership role that involves exercising management and strategic oversight of staff engaged in clinical research. You will oversee all aspects of clinical trials and other sponsored research activities, establishing and managing strategic relationships across stakeholder groups.

To succeed in this role, you will need to identify funding opportunities and develop grant applications, take responsibility for budget development, financial management, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver the vision, strategy, and operations of clinical research relating to neurological conditions.
  • Exercise management and strategic oversight of staff engaged in clinical research.
  • Oversee all aspects of clinical trials and other sponsored research activities.
  • Establish and manage strategic relationships across stakeholder groups.
  • Identify funding opportunities and develop grant applications.
  • Take responsibility for budget development, financial management, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as neuroscience, psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience with a track record of success.
  • Experience in managing teams within a research or clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical trial governance and stakeholder reporting.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • High-level strategic skills and project management ability.
