Your Future Role
As a Material Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage material availability, monitor supplier performance, and optimize logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase request analysis to ensure processability in line with planning needs
- Creation and management of supplier delivery schedules to support hard inventory
- Purchase order processing and management of suppliers' deliveries according to production, operations, installation, and repairs requirements
- Delivery follow-up and expediting
- Sharing information on deliveries with key stakeholders to detect potential missing parts and manage crises in case of delivery issues
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in business administration, engineering, or supply chain
- Supply chain certification is desirable
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Rolling stock background experience is highly desirable
