About the Role

We are currently hiring skilled Garden Labourers to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance and upkeep. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching to ensure gardens are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers to support the smooth operation of the garden maintenance team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

About You:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods to perform the physical demands of the role.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ongoing safety training programs and resources available to support your professional development.
