As a Critical Care Registered Nurse with Pulse Staffing, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients, providing high-quality care and support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and evaluate care for patients within the ICU setting
  • Assist patients with their activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Regularly assess and monitor patients' vital signs, identifying any potential issues and taking prompt action to address them
  • Perform a range of observations and use monitoring systems to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
  • Operate and maintain a variety of medical equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitors
  • Administer medication via different routes, always prioritizing patient safety and comfort
  • Recognize and respond to patient deterioration, escalating care as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives to ensure seamless care
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in Intensive Care, Critical Care or High Dependency Unit
  • Current Police Check
  • Rights to work within Australia
