Job Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen team as a Support Staff Member. You will work closely with our chefs to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and general kitchen equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Ensuring overall kitchen cleanliness by washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and removing garbage to designated containers.
  • Transferring supplies and equipment between work areas in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assisting chefs with basic food preparation and plating of meals to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Hosing, sweeping, and mopping kitchen floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand clear, concise English to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Basic math skills to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to multitask and switch tasks seamlessly to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Up to one-month related training or equivalent experience to demonstrate your potential for growth and development.
