About The Position

The Director of Student Engagement will lead initiatives that support improved educational outcomes, align school planning with our vision, and strengthen teaching and learning. A key focus will be fostering positive relationships across the school community. We prioritise student engagement and whole-child development through evidence-based, futures-focused education.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Providing leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Preparing data returns for senior management where requested.
  • Monitoring students' individual performance and behaviour and developing and implementing intervention strategies where necessary.
  • Communicating and working with parents, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.
