Job Overview

We are seeking a Systems Accountant to play a key role in implementing financial systems and optimizing processes for business clients.

The ideal candidate will be highly experienced with Xero and cloud-based financial systems, with a strong background in public practice accounting or tax.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of financial systems and conversion projects.
  • Migrate and configure data and systems with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support new franchise onboarding by preparing clean, reconciled financial data.
  • Troubleshoot and clean up historical files and legacy system issues.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to franchise business owners on cloud-based financial tools.
  • Collaborate with internal finance teams to align processes and ensure consistency.
  • Drive improvements in onboarding and systems workflows to enhance scale and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Highly experienced with Xero and cloud-based financial systems.
  • Strong background in public practice accounting or tax.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience with data migration or system implementations is highly regarded.
