About the Role

Due to our growing number of students we are seeking a Bus Driver to join our team.

This role will involve safely transporting students to and from school on designated routes, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere and building strong relationships with our students.

The allocated schedule requires prompt and efficient service at all times. Additionally, collaboration with colleagues is required for transportation coordination of staff and student excursions and camps.

Maintenance of a clean and tidy bus interior is expected to promote a comfortable and welcoming environment for students.

In addition, adherence to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with our students.
  • Adhere to the allocated schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior, promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment for students.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus.
  • Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well-being and maintaining order.

Requirements:

  • A genuine person with a passion for working with children.
  • Have a valid Working With Children Check for working in a child-related environment in VIC.
  • Valid driver's license.
