About the Position

As a Senior Ledger Specialist in our organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of an organization by managing and updating the general ledger, generating financial reports, conducting account reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepares journal entries, recurring and allocation journal entries, collecting adequate supporting documentation. Carries out month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing. Responsible for quarterly balance sheet, P&L fluctuation analysis, and monthly expense variance analysis.
  • Account Management and Financial Accuracy: Accountable for consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting. Ensures accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, local accounting policies from government and compliance to internal policies.
  • Asset Management and Financial Reporting: Manages fixed assets, balance sheet counts reconciliation. Updates and maintains financial reporting on a regular basis.
  • Internal Control and Audit Support: Provides various statements and relevant auditing data for the accounting firm's audit work.

Collaborating with various stakeholders across the business is essential for this role. A flexible working approach may be needed due to the markets' time zones.
