We are currently working with the Western Australian Electoral Commission to provide a workforce for the upcoming State election.

The following roles are available to assist with the election process:

Issuing Officer

Issues ballot papers to electors on polling day and rotates as a ballot box guard and queue controller.

After 6 pm, becomes a counting officer to conduct the count.

  • Assists with the setup of polling places
  • Manages the queue into the polling place
  • Ensures the correct ballot box papers are put into the ballot boxes
Student Electoral Officer

Assists in polling place duties performed by officers, with limited hours.

  • Assists with the setup of polling places
  • Manages the queue into the polling place
  • Ensures the correct ballot box papers are put into the ballot boxes
Voter Information Officer

Assists electors with language, literacy, or other requirements.

  • Provides information to electors
  • Assists with the setup of polling places
  • Ensures the correct ballot box papers are put into the ballot boxes
General Assistant

Assists with the setup of polling places and the count.

  • Assists with the setup of polling places
  • Ensures the correct ballot box papers are put into the ballot boxes
  • Assists with the count
Ballot Box Guard

Ensures the correct ballot box papers are put into the ballot boxes.

Queue Controller

Manages the queue into the polling place.
