Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Practice Manager to lead the implementation of SA/DV services. This key role contributes to ongoing professional development and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Ensuring patient care aligns with our hospital vision, values, and network standards is crucial.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to SA/DV nurses, promoting excellence in patient care and staff development.
- Coordinate collaboration between nurses, counsellors, and other clinicians to deliver seamless patient services.
- Ensure nurses meet requirements for SANE training, maintaining high standards of expertise.
- Complete chart reviews and provide constructive feedback, driving continuous improvement.
- Lead nurse team meetings, fostering open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Provide vicarious trauma support for clinicians, prioritizing their well-being and resilience.
- Outreach/education to community partners, including emergency departments, police, and community agency staff, enhancing partnerships and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, upholding regulatory standards.
- Support clinicians with REDCap database use, streamlining data management and analysis.
- Maintain program policy and procedures, Medical Directives, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Participate in program leader meetings, educator meetings, and nurse CoP meetings, engaging with stakeholders and driving organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- A Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Registration.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- At least five years of experience in SA/DV services.
- Current Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Certification.
- Safekids Trained.
