Job Description

As an educator at our institution, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality inclusive education that is relevant to the needs of individual students. You will engage and maintain student interest through a wide range of academic, cultural, and sporting activities throughout the year.

  • Experience with Early Years curriculum would be beneficial in developing effective teaching strategies.
  • Trauma-informed practices will be essential in creating a supportive learning environment.
  • Age-Appropriate Pedagogies should be applied to cater to diverse student needs.
  • Knowledge of General Capabilities - Social and Emotional Continuum is necessary for comprehensive student development.
  • Knowledge and experience providing behavioural and emotional supports are crucial for student well-being.
  • Knowledge and experience with early intervention strategies in the early years will enable early detection and prevention of issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to support colleagues in the early years is vital for team success.

- Inclusion - Year 6 - Term 4

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A relevant teaching qualification as a prerequisite for the position.
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
  • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
