Senior Engineering Technician - CNC Expert

This role is ideal for a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician with strong technical skills in CNC programming, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Create detailed designs and drafts for stone vanities, kitchen countertops, and components using AutoCAD. Ensure compliance with engineering principles, customer specifications, and safety standards.
  • CNC Programming: Design parts and program CNC machines (e.g., Bridge saws, waterjet cutters) to optimize precision, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Resolve mechanical issues and enhance machine performance.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Develop maintenance schedules, perform inspections, and troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with Australian safety regulations.
  • Testing & Analysis: Perform field/lab tests, analyze data, and prepare diagrams to support design and optimization efforts.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production systems, conduct quality checks, and implement improvements to meet client specifications.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD/CAM tools is essential.
  • Australian safety standards knowledge is highly desirable.
