Security Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Advisor to lead our Security, Facilities, Fleet, and Sustainability team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading several security-related projects and associated policies, as well as coordinating and advising on other security matters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Implementation of the Security Framework: Develop and implement a comprehensive security framework to ensure the safety and security of our organization.
- Provide Strategic Advice: Offer expert advice and guidance on security-related matters, including protective security, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with officials from other government directorates, the Commonwealth, and other jurisdictions to enhance security policy outcomes.
- Lead a Team of Professionals: Manage a team of policy, project, and operational officers to achieve objectives by developing capability, mentoring staff, and fostering a sense of purpose.
- Proven Senior Management Experience: Demonstrate a track record of leading policy development or projects in a security-related field.
- Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Possess highly developed strategic, critical thinking, and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks, determine priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Demonstrate high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality written materials, including complex submissions, papers, briefs, and plans relating to security.
