Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation Role



ERM is seeking a skilled Environmental Consultant to join our team in Sydney, supporting our Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation Team (Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation services).



The ideal candidate will have between 5-8 years' experience in contaminated site management consulting, with strong field work skills acquired across a range of site uses and contaminant types.



Key responsibilities include:




  • Supervising fieldwork programs, including subcontractors and ERM personnel on site
  • Undertaking environmental assessments and remediation works involving the collection of field data (soil, soil gas/vapour, groundwater)
  • Preparation of complex technical reports in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation
  • Electronic data management and production of borelogs and summary tables
  • Assisting with client proposal preparation
  • Supporting project managers through planning and delivering field programs and/or budget/task management
