Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to lead a small team and ensure site activities are carried out efficiently. This role will involve working closely with the Site Supervisor to maintain a smooth workflow, leveraging experience in subdivisions and earthworks to achieve successful project outcomes.

Duties:
  • Lead your team on-site, guaranteeing tasks are completed safely and effectively.
  • Monitor and manage materials and equipment to ensure timely availability.
  • Collaborate with the Site Supervisor to meet project deadlines and uphold safety standards.
  • Maintain the quality of work to ensure it meets project specifications.
  • Provide assistance in resolving any issues that arise on-site.
Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in civil construction, particularly in subdivisions and earthworks projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and site management.
  • A thorough understanding of site safety and the ability to enforce it.
