Environmental Waste Specialist

This role involves handling customer requests and ensuring timely processing of these requests to facilitate service delivery.
The Waste Service Request Officer reports directly to the Coordinator Waste Management Services. Key responsibilities include maintaining oversight of current active cases, supporting service delivery through closure of customer requests and work orders, and performing related administrative tasks.
To succeed in this position, you will need experience in Local Government or waste management, as well as skills in responding to and processing customer requests or delivering support online or over the phone.
You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently interpreting and managing customer requests to ensure required details are provided to the correct internal team or external contractor to enable service delivery.
