Senior Native Title Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced native title practitioner to join our Adelaide-based boutique practice. Our firm specializes in native title, commercial law, and dispute resolution.

We have exciting projects across the nation and are growing with an agile team of passionate lawyers and support staff.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in native title claim resolution and advising Registered Native Title Body Corporates (RNTBCs). They will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to demonstrate their ability to work efficiently with high accuracy, and commit to following risk management processes.

Teamwork, autonomy, and a commitment to respecting clients, particularly First Nations clients, are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with native title claim resolution and RNTBCs litigation;
  • Facilitate meetings and mediate in native title disputes;
  • Provide expert advice on agreement making and negotiation strategies;
  • Work closely with senior practitioners and collaborate with colleagues;
  • Ensure adherence to risk management processes and regulatory requirements;
Requirements:
  • Unrestricted practising certificate in South Australia (or eligible for admission);
  • Extensive experience in native title claim resolution and RNTBCs;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently with high accuracy;
  • Commitment to following risk management processes;
  • Respect for clients, particularly First Nations clients;
