Job Role: Evening Stocking Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and diligent individual to join our team as an Evening Stocking Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our shelves are stocked and ready for customers.

Your work hours will start in the afternoons or evenings, and you will use store equipment such as pallet jacks and cutting tools to restock shelves efficiently.

To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent customer service skills and be passionate about delivering a superior experience for our customers.

  2. You will ensure that all products are correctly placed and faced, meeting merchandising guidelines and sales promotions.
  3. You will operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently to move stock around the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, ensuring that inventory levels are always current and correct.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently to move stock around the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all products are correctly placed and faced, meeting merchandising guidelines and sales promotions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental and store objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights (if required).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or industry would be advantageous.
