About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team at the Bundaberg Campus of Y Schools Queensland. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality academic and wellbeing programs to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver vocational training programs that equip students with essential skills and knowledge.
  • Support the Head of Campus/School in achieving educational, wellbeing, and vocational objectives.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students, helping them to set and achieve academic goals.
  • Work with students who require additional support, including those with disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health needs.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant University degree and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications.
  • Preferred areas of teaching include Maths, Manual Arts, and Digital Tech.
  • Ability to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage challenging behaviors.
