The RoleAs a Commercial Law Associate, you will work directly with Senior Associates/Partners on significant and high-profile legal matters in the Australian market. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build your legal experience at a leading international corporate firm.
You will be part of a team that provides expert advice to clients across a range of commercial law areas, including mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, and capital markets.
Responsibilities- Assist in a broad range of commercial law tasks, including document drafting, research and analysis, and client communication.
- Manage complex diaries and organize travel for the team.
- Coordinate billing and expense processes.
- File management, including opening and closing files, electronic and physical filing, and scanning.
- Client relationship management and administration tasks.
- Draft routine and non-routine documents, correspondence, and presentations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience managing complex diaries and organizing travel.
- Able to work autonomously and draft basic correspondence and documents.
- Previous experience in monthly billing using relevant financial software is preferable.
- Tech-savvy with a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Able and willing to use initiative to contribute to the overall success of the team.
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around AU$65,000 - AU$85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
