Accounting Professional

DP World Australia is seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our accounting team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data for terminals, ensuring timely flow to the centralised accounting system.
Main Responsibilities- Provide management with relevant information and reports as required, including variance analysis.
- Prepare and process employee expense journals.
- Prepare month end journals (prepayment, accruals, payroll, banking, employee provisions and recharges).
- Reconciliation of Inventory to general ledger.
- Assist Accounts Payable team with invoice codings and provide assistance with recharges and journals.
- Assist with half year and year end schedules (For half year and year end statutory accounts).
- Assist with the preparation of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.
- Update and maintain fixed asset register.
- An accounting degree or professional accounting qualifications (CPA, CA) are essential.
- Experience in industry is desirable but not necessary.
- Familiarity with computerised accounting systems is a must.
- A sound knowledge of business and accounting principles is required.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
