About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planning Expert to join our Transport Advisory team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on transport engineering, land use/transport integration, and approval processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advanced traffic engineering and management principles, including advice on land use/transport planning, transport network design, and due diligence assessments.
  • Supporting the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects and other national initiatives.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Units across Urbis and Cistri.
  • Generating new work and profitable business performance through the maintenance and building upon new and existing client relationships.
  • Nurturing and developing junior staff members through effective coaching and mentoring.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant local NSW experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
  • Significant Transport engineering/Transport planning experience with demonstrable ability to manage workload and deliver across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach to work and team mentality along with mentoring junior staff.
