We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with asset owners.

Job Summary

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for identifying, preventing and troubleshooting plant and process problems to ensure maximum availability.

  • Supporting project teams as an owner's Mechanical engineering advisor;
  • Providing technical governance and support to various aspects of MMO Operations;
  • Assisting maintenance, maintenance engineering and reliability teams with Technical and Engineering Support;
  • Conducting Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments for Pipes, Tanks and Pressure Vessels.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Tertiary degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia;
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a complex processing plant environment;
  • A varied engineering background with a pragmatic approach to problem solving;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
