About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual as a full-time FBO and Charter Coordinator based at Adelaide Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the primary contact for the Adelaide Fixed Based Operation (FBO).
  • Manage the end-to-end FBO charter process, including acceptance, pricing, staffing, securing third-party contractor services, and coordination onsite for arrival and departing aircraft.
  • Support the management of existing client contracts, develop strong client relationships, and actively support new client opportunities.
  • In concert with the Rex Group Safety Department, investigate safety-related or dangerous goods incidents, implement corrective actions, and procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing Rex Group charter requirements for schedule and ad-hoc services.
  • Monitor and manage performance of FBO and charter operations, providing administrative support.
  • Complete Ground Operations training to upskill ground handling personnel, engineering, outports, and third-party contractors.
  • Assist the Adelaide Airport Manager with other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous airline experience is essential.
  • Eligibility to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills to manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and commitment to on-time performance.
  • Previous customer service experience is mandatory.
  • Able to work shift work, including early starts, evenings, and weekend work.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work well within a diverse community of highly motivated stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with computer productivity applications, such as Microsoft Office (advanced IT skills would be highly regarded).
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
What We Offer

$85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience.
