  • This role is a key position in the Corporate Technology team, requiring administrative, coordination and support services for various technology projects.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the project management team to ensure all projects align with the defined project governance model and lifecycle framework.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Support a diverse range of technology projects by providing administrative and operational support to project management team members.
  • Ensure that deliverables are met on time, including record management processes, collating content for discussion papers, reports and correspondence, coordinating tasks, information and records management, financial management, and contract management.
  • Provide PMO services support and expertise to ensure the optimised business case is delivered for the business on time, to quality expectations, and within budget.
  • Align all project team members to the agreed governance and lifecycle framework, continually improving processes as required.
  • Ensure appropriate project close out activities are undertaken to optimise handover to operational teams and assist PM to fulfill post-project requirements in a timely manner.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with internal and external clients to achieve effective outcomes for the project.
  • Deal with sensitive and/or classified information in an appropriate manner.
  • Support the management of collaborative and strategic relationships through working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Framework & Governance Requirements:

">
  • Support preparation of monthly reporting and co-ordination of governance forums.
  • Design and embed document management discipline and hygiene in support of PMO governance frameworks and routines.
  • Provide support for governance and assurance across the program.
  • Ensure Health Checks are performed at regular and meaningful times to measure what is going well and what areas of improvement require attention.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

">
  • 5+ years proven experience in a project support environment or similar role, with a focus on governance and project lifecycle framework.
  • Demonstrated project support skills and experience, particularly a thorough understanding of project management principles and techniques for technology projects.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication, consultation and negotiation skills.
  • Industry qualification in Project Management Methodology (PRINCE2/PMBOK) desired.
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven advanced influencing skills across diverse stakeholder sets.
