We are seeking a friendly and approachable Health Food Store Assistant to join our team in Nourish, Dunnes Stores, Jetland Centre, Ennis Road. As a Health Food Store Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and promoting our range of natural products.

About the Role:

This part-time position covers 16-24 hours per week with shifts covering weekends and weekday evenings. You must be flexible to cover shifts across all opening hours of 8am to 10 pm. Please note that shifts worked on Sundays and hours worked over 39 hours are paid at time and a half. Bank Holidays are paid at double time and we currently pay on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer leaves the store feeling satisfied.
  • Maintain high stock levels and store appearance, including cleaning and tidying as required.
  • Operate pallet trucks and trolleys, loading and unloading boxes.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Assist customers to find the right solution for their needs.
  • Be professional and empathetic while advising customers at all times.

Requirements:

  • You have a strong interest in health and wellbeing.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can work well under pressure.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude.
  • You have a minimum of 1-year previous retail experience (an advantage).
  • You have a relevant qualification (beneficial).
