Nurse Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Sterilising Services team at Dandenong Hospital. As a Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of sterile reusable medical devices for all wards and departments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 35 highly skilled Instrument Technicians
- Collaborate with all other Monash Health Sterilising Services teams
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Advocate for evidence-based practice
- Support the professional development of yourself and others
Sterilising services at Dandenong support 8 operating suites with surgical specialties, including orthopaedic, plastic, colorectal vascular, and obstetric services. We are a 24-hour service that has recently undergone refurbishment utilising a computerised tracking system.

- Certificate IV Sterilising Services or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration (for Nurses)
- Proven leadership experience
- Knowledge and understanding of AS 5369, GENCA, and associated international standards
- Knowledge of computerised tracking system (desirable)
- Access to Monash Health in-house learning portals
- Working in an environment committed to excellence
- Collaborative working with other Monash Health sterilising services
