Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our team of care specialists. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services to individuals with sensory impairments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for active support and direct involvement in the lives of our clients, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

You will work closely with the Home Services Manager to manage the home, creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for our clients.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients living with sensory impairments to achieve their goals
  • CTARS notes checking and Incidents reviews and closures
  • Rostering of staff as per Master Roster
  • Assisting with SIL preparation
  • Assisting with RPA submission and reporting
  • QoL preparation and reporting
  • Assisting in the Recruitment processes
  • Induction and probation management for new team members
  • Accounts reconciliations and Invoice approvals
  • Inclusion in after hours on-call roster
Skills and Qualifications
  • Approachable and able to build, develop and sustain positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in shared accommodation services for adults with disabilities and the Active Support Model
  • Flexible and empathetic attitude with excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
  • Ability to think outside the box, be innovative and committed to the day to day support and management of the home
  • High resilience
  • Works autonomously and takes initiative
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency utilising Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Requirements
  • Right to work in Australia
  • A valid and unrestricted NSW driver's license
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations including Boosters (or willingness to obtain)
