About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team of talented engineers. This role requires someone who can build robust, reusable, and user-friendly mobile applications using React Native.
- This includes designing with performance constraints, offline capabilities, platform conventions, and security in mind.
- The successful candidate will be able to write production-ready code that is clean, scalable, and performance-optimised, delivering a beautiful, mobile-native user experience.
- They will also participate in a culture of documentation and knowledge-sharing within their team and with stakeholders.
The Senior Mobile Engineer will be responsible for:
- Building cross-platform mobile applications in React Native and contributing to our long-term mobile technical vision.
- Designing and implementing complex features and fixes while ensuring high-quality code standards.
- Collaborating with other engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years working with React Native for a commercially available product.
- Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, navigation paradigms, performance optimisation, and native platform differences (iOS/Android).
