About Our Care Team

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Community Assistant.

This role involves providing personalized support to older Australians in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

As a Community Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, such as light house cleaning, meal preparation, and personal care. You will also accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities, helping them stay connected with their community.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our clients and their families. If you have a Certificate III in Individual Support or a related field, an Australian Driver's Licence, and strong communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to older Australians in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as light house cleaning, meal preparation, and personal care.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities, helping them stay connected with their community.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or a related field.
  • An Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (obtained prior to employment).

Please note that successful candidates will undergo relevant pre-employment checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
