Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of clients.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in various settings, providing support with daily living tasks, social inclusion, and community access. Your role will be to assist clients with household chores and grocery shopping, accompany them to medical appointments, administer medication as required, and provide personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks and activities
  • Provide support with social inclusion and community access
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and administer medication as required
  • Support clients with holidays, fishing, camping, and beach activities
  • Facilitate independent living skills in clients
  • Implement behaviour management strategies as needed

Requirements:

  • A Blue Card for Working with Children (currently held or eligible to apply)
  • NDIS Worker Screening (currently held or eligible to apply)
  • A driver's license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Completion of NDIS E-Learning modules
  • A smartphone with internet access
