Senior Manager - Technology Advancement

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our technology advancement efforts across the department. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving technological innovation, managing teams, and delivering projects that align with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Assist in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring planning, monitoring, and delivery of work programs.
  • Leadership Development: Guide, support, develop, and mentor staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Innovation and Collaboration: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned with APS values.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to build partnerships, manage expectations, and negotiate solutions.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and benefits realisation to senior leadership.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate specialist resources on projects, including contractors, consultants, and ICT teams.

This role is open to Commonwealth employees located in various locations across Australia.
