About the Role

This position involves undertaking manual tasks and operating small plant items for minor construction and maintenance of assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Roads, drainage, kerb & gutter, bus shelters, footpaths, cycleways, parking areas, traffic facilities, Boat ramps, seawalls, jettys, and flood mitigation assets.
  • Recreational facilities, parks, and reserves, walking tracks, and viewing areas.
  • Providing urgent works in response to emergencies within our community.

The successful applicant will have experience working in civil construction and/or maintenance activities, a Class C Drivers Licence, a General Construction Induction Card (white card), and the right to work in Australia.

They will also be able to work safely on a wide range of projects and deliver quality workmanship, either working independently or as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Experience working in civil construction and/or maintenance activities.
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Card (white card).
  • Right to work in Australia.
