About the RoleLendlease ACT is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a soon to commence $600m project in Canberra.
As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of your project, including administration of the head contract and subcontracts, developing the procurement strategy and processes, and outlining cost controls, budgets, and managing project cash flow.
You will also lead and mentor the commercial and administration project team to success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all commercial aspects of the project, including contract administration and procurement.
- Develop and implement cost controls, budgets, and cash flow management.
- Lead and mentor the commercial and administration project team.
To be successful, you will need:
- A construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects above $100 million.
- Expertise in contract management, construction law, and quantity surveying.
- Program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration.
- Experience managing and developing teams of junior staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing groups of high-level stakeholders, both internal and external.
