Exciting Opportunity for Environmental Policy Professionals

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Environmental Policy Professionals to join our team at Flexhive. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative approaches to environmental regulation.

About the Role

This is a 12-month non-ongoing role with potential for extension. You will work closely with our team to identify and respond to emerging regulatory issues, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and lead the development of complex projects and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental regulation.
  • Travel to locations across Queensland to meet stakeholders and develop a first-hand understanding of the industries, landscapes, and species impacted by environmental regulation.
  • Engage widely with internal and external stakeholders to build effective working relationships and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Support the development of complex projects, contracts, and procurements to drive positive change in environmental protection.
What We Are Looking For

We are seeking individuals with a strong background in environmental policy, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Knowledge of the EPBC Act and a tertiary qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous but is not essential.
