Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pump Service Technician to join our team at Allstar Recruitment Group. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining rotating equipment, primarily pumps, at various sites across Australia.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rotating equipment and be proficient in the breakdown, servicing, and overhaul of pumps and compressors. You will be required to travel to multiple locations, including onshore and offshore sites, in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain rotating equipment, including pumps and compressors
- Travel to various sites across Australia, including onshore and offshore locations
- Work in a workshop and on-site environment as required
- Supervise subcontractors as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and adhere to OHS and ISO guidelines
Requirements
- Strong background in rotating equipment and pump maintenance
- Proficient in mechanical engineering and maintenance skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and supervise subcontractors as needed
