Essential Role: CSSD Instrument Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CSSD Instrument Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sterilizing practice standards and infection control procedures are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring the effective functioning of decontamination, packing, sterilization, and loan instruments processes
- Testing machinery such as washers and sterilizers to ensure optimal performance
- Planning and managing resources to prioritize equipment maintenance
- Reporting any deviations from normal operations to the relevant authorities
- Performing other duties as directed by management
The ideal candidate will possess Grade 2 or higher experience in a similar role, with a Certificate IV in Sterilizing Services or working towards it. They will also have current practical skills and knowledge, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
