About the RoleAs a Speech Pathologist with Capital Region Community Services, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that provides therapy and assessment services to individuals, families, and children. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality client care, utilizing sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level speech pathology services to clients with complex and varied needs
- Manage caseloads independently, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve client goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for improvement
- Hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Speech and Language Pathology
- Be a current member of Speech Pathology Australia or eligible to join
- Hold current registration with Medicare as an approved provider
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
