About the Role

The successful candidate will work as a Speech Pathologist in our Illawarra region, providing therapy services to clients across the lifespan. This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including those with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, intellectual disabilities, genetic disorders, developmental delays, anxiety, and complex trauma.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to clients in a variety of settings, including onsite, home-based, preschool/school-based, and community settings.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to clients and their families.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in speech pathology.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Speech Pathologist.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to client visits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
