Job Description

As a seasoned technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of large-scale data platform and business intelligence solutions. Your expertise in designing, implementing, and owning robust data platforms will be instrumental in driving business value for our clients.

You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design architectures, and implement solutions that meet their needs. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences will be crucial in ensuring successful project outcomes.

Additionally, you will provide thought leadership on data profiling and integration recommendations, leveraging your advanced data modeling skills to drive business insights. Your experience in managing development lifecycles, performance tuning, and optimization will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor developers, act as an SME in data warehouse architecture and modeling, and provide detailed documentation, training, and knowledge transfer services to customers and internal teams.

Requirements
  • Advanced data modeling skills (Star schema, Snowflake schema, data vault)
  • Proven track-record of building Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDWs)
  • Advanced ETL/ELT process design and implementation
  • Strong skills in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory and data flows, Azure SQL data platform, Databricks, and Snowflake
  • Extensive knowledge of data ingestion tools (Apache Kafka, Informatica, AWS Glue, Azure Event Hubs, Fivetran, Matillion, DBT, Coalesce)
  • Experience with Apache Airflow
  • Strong consultation and client management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
