Job Description:
As a Swimming Instructor at our Recreation Centres, you will play a vital role in teaching young people the essential skill of swimming. You will lead safe, stimulating and always-fun lessons that build confidence and capability in developing young people.

Our team is committed to empowering all children and young people to feel safe and be safe in and around the water. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn how to swim, regardless of their background or abilities.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with other instructors and staff to deliver high-quality programs and services. You will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive learning environment, where children feel comfortable and confident in the water.

You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of lesson plans, progress reports, and student feedback. This will help us to continuously improve our programs and services, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching children how to swim, and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to providing a high-quality service, we would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities
- Create and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, progress reports, and student feedback
- Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to deliver high-quality programs and services

Requirements:
- Current CPR Certificate
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety License
- Working with Children Check
- Police Check (paid by us)
