About the Role

This full-time and casual position, based in Glenside, SA, requires a skilled individual to deliver, assess, and evaluate structured professional education sessions. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening relationships with organisations, promoting Dementia Australia programs and services, and ensuring education is delivered to the highest standard.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver, assess, and evaluate structured professional education sessions, both accredited and non-accredited
  • Assist in strengthening relationships with organisations to promote Dementia Australia programs and services
  • Deliver education services face-to-face and via online video conferencing platforms
  • Implement a continuous improvement approach to all tasks and initiatives, including reviewing and developing courses and ensuring programs comply with professional standards

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field, including allied health, nursing, leisure and lifestyle
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or its successor TAE40122)
  • OR Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education, 1-2 years' hands-on experience in providing support to people living with dementia, demonstrated experience in the design, delivery, and assessment of adult education, and experience working in the health, welfare, or community sector
  • Demonstrated inclusive behaviour, ability to communicate clearly and openly, and a formal qualification in dementia (highly regarded)
