Partners Group is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst Associate to join our Australian Private Equity direct investment team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be part of a seamless local and international team working to review and source, select, acquire, manage, and ultimately exit PE investments in Australia across all sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Support the investment team in industry research, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio company management.
  • Analyze financial data, prepare detailed business unit centric LBO financial models, and draft high-quality investment committee reports.
  • Negotiate debt facilities, purchase agreements, employment, and other commercial agreements for portfolio companies.
  • Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for portfolio companies, such as acquisitions, divestitures, or entering new markets.
Requirements
  • Excellent financial analysis skills and high proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Superb quality written work product, coherent, persuasive with high attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking skills to prioritize work, analyze investment opportunities, and remain goal-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team skills, including ability to operate within team structures and cooperate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to rapidly prepare and assimilate industry research from internal and external sources.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including performance-based annual incentives, 25 annual leave days, and an additional one-month sabbatical after every five years of service.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
