Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our Mackay Service Operations team.
As a Diesel Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in repairing, maintaining, and servicing key CAT machinery.
You will work as part of a skilled and driven team, performing diagnostic assessments on mining and general construction equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Repairing and maintaining CAT machinery
- Performing diagnostic assessments on mining and general construction equipment
- Working as part of a team to achieve high-quality results

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification in Engineering (Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Fitters, Fitter & Turners, Mechanical trades & Diesel Fitters)
- Demonstrated post-trade mechanical fitting experience
- Component experience is desired but not essential
- Computer literacy and experience in SIS is desirable but not essential
- A strong commitment to maintaining a high level of workplace health and safety
- The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
