About the Opportunity:

This role involves providing continuity of care to patients and their families while enjoying the rewards of working in a close-knit community.

The practice operates in a fully computerized environment with modern facilities and quality improvements implemented throughout.

Essential Qualifications/Skills:
  • Current unrestricted registration as a General Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
Practice Details:
  • Bulk billing services are offered, with exceptions made for items not covered by Medicare.
  • The practice is accredited with the Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL).
  • Modern facilities provide a range of services, including women's and men's health, indigenous health, chronic disease management, and more.

Gin Gin is a small rural town located on the Bruce Highway, approximately 40 minutes from Bundaberg and 45 minutes from Bargara. The area boasts scenic views, with large areas of sugar cane, avocado farms, macadamia farms, small cropping, and cattle properties.

Work-Life Balance:

No after-hours responsibility is attached to this position, with the Principal Doctor and MOPP taking on-call duties to the hospital.

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
