Job Description

Role Overview:

The Chief Curriculum Developer plays a pivotal role in shaping the implementation of Middle Years Programme Language and Literature, ensuring alignment with Years 11 and 12, and building a cohesive 7–12 curriculum that reflects best practice in literacy development and a curious mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and implement an English curriculum programme that meets the needs of all students in the school from Year 7 to Year 12.
  • Design initiatives, manage projects, and lead change management efforts.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and commit to ongoing professional learning.
  • Manage and develop other staff while fostering excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other members of staff and lead teams.
  • Maintain administrative and organisational skills.

Requirements:

  • Aptitude and relevant qualifications.
  • A valid Working with Vulnerable People Card.
  • A current Police Check.
  • Working rights within Australia.
