Senior Cyber Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Energy Markets team and make a real difference in the field of cyber security.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in the energy sector, supporting critical infrastructure, resilience, and cyber security initiatives. They will possess effective analysis and communication skills, as well as knowledge of security control and maturity frameworks relevant to the energy sector.

  • We are looking for someone with contemporary knowledge of cyber adversary techniques and tradecraft, who can support the development and execution of a program of work to enable us to effectively discharge our responsibilities in coordinating with Commonwealth and State government authorities and energy market participants on effective response to cyber security incidents.
  • The ideal candidate will also be able to enhance the frameworks used to inform cyber security maturity uplift across grids and markets, and coordinate cyber security research activities on emerging issues affecting energy grids and markets.
  • Promoting a shared understanding of the cyber threat environment is also a key aspect of this role.

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, technology-related fields, or energy-related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Cyber security, energy, or project management qualifications or certifications would be highly advantageous.
  • You will also need to be able to travel interstate and work flexible hours.
