Overview:
The Clinical Director of Anaesthesia and High Dependency Unit is a senior leadership position available at a 83-bed hospital in Queensland, Australia. Our hospital offers a range of services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics.
Job Description:
As the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for leading the anaesthesia team and ensuring the provision of high-quality anaesthetic services. This involves overseeing the delivery of safe and effective patient care, managing staff resources, and collaborating with other departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have over 20 years experience in the medical field and hold a Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA). You should possess strong clinical leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
