About the Role

This is a key VIP role that offers a top mentorship and a bright future with an impressive boutique firm with a 45+ year proven success record. You will have the opportunity to fast-track your learning and career advancement, and be the go-to family lawyer in the firm with your own family law practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising and litigating on divorce, separation, property disputes, children and parenting issues, de facto relationships, spousal maintenance, and pre-nuptial agreements;
  • Managing a caseload of family law matters, including drafting and preparing court documents;
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on family law matters;
  • Working closely with the Principal and other team members to achieve business objectives;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders;
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a family lawyer;
  • Solid knowledge of family law legislation and strong drafting, research, communication, and negotiation skills;
